This song was written with a sense of determination to move FORWARD by faith into the next season of my life. The older I get, the easier it is to want my life to be safe, comfortable, and predictable. But that’s not God’s plan! The God we worship is a God who loves the new and He’s all about bringing newness to our lives and the lives of those around us.

Psalms 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. To count the number of our days is to live our lives with an eternal perspective or you could say - to live this life for the next. This way of seeing our days changes everything.

It’s no secret that we live in a time when anxiety and fear are on the rise among every ethnicity and age group. I wrote this song in hopes that it would take people away from the noise to the - beyond understanding - peace of God.

One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Ecclesiastics 3:11 which says, “He (God) has set eternity in the heart of man (every person).” To me, the fact that every human being that has ever lived has had a knowing, a wondering, even a longing for the next life, is proof of God’s existence.
