Speak To Me - Throwback Thursday
I was inspired to write this song from 1 Samuel 3, in which God was speaking to Samuel. Samuel doubted that he was hearing God's voice. In fact, at the beginning of the chapter it says, "In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions," yet God was in fact speaking to him. Samuel did finally lay down and say, "Speak , for Your servant is listening."
Instead of always assuming that God is not speaking, may we be a people who are ever-watching and listening with expectancy that God is in fact ready to speak to us.

Here I Am Again - Throwback Thursday
This song is just another of thousands of songs written sense the time of King David that simply expresses love to God. Special thanks to Bryan Taylor for playing brushes and to Tommy Emmanuel for inspiring me to learn how to play with a thumb pick!

It brings so much hope to all of us that our God can use simple things, places, and people like us to show his glory!

Song of the Week - #31 - "That's My God"
This song is simply a way of declaring and giving thanks that the God of the universe isn’t just "a" God, or "the" God, but that He is "my" God! Our God is not a higher power or a force in the heavens somewhere out there, but He is the Holy, Living God, and the only God who invites me to cry out and say, “Abba Father.”
