TWM Asia Tour 2026 | South Korea & Singapore Recap

From late September through mid-October 2026, our Tommy Walker Ministries team embarked on an unforgettable international journey across South Korea and Singapore. For over a decade, our heart has been to resource the global Church, encourage worship leaders, and model an intimate, reverent, and joyful connection with Jesus through worship.

This tour allowed our team to partner directly with local pastors, worship teams, and multi-generational congregations across Southeast and East Asia.

Here is a look back at where God took us and what He did during our time abroad.

J’Mission

Our journey began in late September as our team assembled, flew into South Korea, and spent invaluable time in preparation and prayer ahead of our multi-city schedule.

We were especially blessed to reunite with our close friends from J’Mission. Ever since our first partnership in 2024, our bond with this powerful Korean vocal group has only grown, and they played a massive, foundational role in all that God did on this trip.

Alongside J’Mission, local churches, and the Passion 2026 Worship Conference, we had the privilege of leading worship concerts and intensive teaching masterclasses across multiple cities:

Gathering with Local Congregations

  • Dongtan (Oct 1): We opened our public ministry schedule at Dongtan Zion Methodist Church (동탄시온교회), joining a passionate congregation for a night of praise and Scripture-fed worship.

Behind the Scenes in Korea

Between cities, our team spent long hours together navigating the roads of South Korea. Every evening on the van rides back to our lodging, we took time to debrief, pray, and share our personal highlights. Here are reflections directly from each team member:

““I had so many musicians who were so eager to become excellent and were really inspired. I feel so blessed that we were able to see such a response of inspired musicianship on a worship team. God put the right people in front of us during this tour.””
— Tommy Walker
““I’ve been so blessed by how Jonté has led us in worship with just his piano these nights. It really took us on a journey—not a chop fest, but a spirit-filled journey through instrumental worship.””
— Sam Beumier
““Between running lyrics and tech directing, we were sharing cues with body language when solos were coming—camera one, camera two... Even without words, the Lord united us in spirit and everything flowed so smoothly. It built our team every day.””
— Amy Vreeman
““This tour was just as encouraging for us as those we served. Worship leaders and musicians kept asking how to work better with tech teams, and vice versa. It was amazing to hear how shocked they were to see us model that oneness live—proving tech isn’t separate, but fully part of the worship team.””
— Carlos Gallardo-Candia
““The worship between us and the congregation has been so beautiful. I love when they lead us by singing in Korean. I’m just constantly shocked by how many people have been touched by Tommy’s music.””
— Bryan Taylor
““We’ve had musicians and pastors reach out saying we’ve been a display of how to worship with our instruments, and how they want to encourage their teams in the same way. It’s been such a blessing to see—not the entertainment side, but people really understanding why we do what we do.””
— Jonté Moore
““It was such a blessing to teach tech and share how even one small thing—not a huge overhaul—can transform a weekend service. Seeing everyone, including our J’Mission friends, put that into practice by helping unload and load every day was incredible.””
— Lukas Odhner

Part II: Singapore 🇸🇬

Following our time in Korea, our team transitioned to Southeast Asia during the week leading up to our weekend residency hosted by Church of Our Saviour (COOS) in Singapore.

Equipping & Services at Church of Our Saviour

  • Friday Masterclasses (Oct 9): Just as we did in Korea, Friday began with interactive masterclasses and breakout sessions specifically for local worship leaders, musicians, and production teams. Our team poured into the COOS worship community through practical instruction on musical dynamics, band communication, and cultivating a humble posture of heart in ministry.

  • Friday Night Concert (Oct 9): That evening at 7:00 PM, we transitioned from equipping into an extended night of corporate worship open to believers across Singapore. It was a powerful time of unified praise, sharing original anthems, and lifting up the name of Jesus together.

  • Weekend Services (Oct 10–11): Throughout Saturday afternoon (2:30 PM) and Sunday morning (8:30 AM & 10:45 AM), our team led worship across all main English services at COOS. In addition to leading songs, Tommy brought a word in season, anchoring the weekend around living a lifestyle of daily, Scripture-fed worship.

Fellowship and Next-Generation Ministry

Beyond the platform, our days in Singapore were deeply relational. In between services and prep, our team spent quality time exploring local sights and getting to know the city together. As we walked the streets and discovered new places, we used those moments to encourage one another, share life, and build lasting friendships. We also shared meals around the table with pastors, worship directors, and production crews, discussing the joys and challenges of local church ministry, discipling young musicians, and praying over the rising generation in Southeast Asia.

As our team returned home in mid-October, we are overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness throughout every stage of this tour—from our early September prep days to our final goodbyes in Singapore. Our dual goals for this trip remained steadfast: to model relational worship that points directly to Christ, and to champion excellence and intentionality among local worship teams.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to:

  • The host pastors, leadership, and media/production teams in South Korea and Singapore who welcomed us with such generosity and grace.

  • The local translators and musicians who labored alongside our team to make each gathering seamless.

  • Our faithful TWM Partners, whose prayerful and financial support makes international trips like this possible.

Please join us in praying for the churches, leaders, and families we met across South Korea and Singapore—that the seeds planted during these past weeks would continue to bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom.
