If you were there with us for Reawaken: Live At Home Again, you were part of something truly special. Whether you came to worship, served behind the scenes, or have supported us through your prayers and generosity… thank you. This night wouldn’t have been possible without you. We’d love to share a glimpse of how it all came together—and how we saw God move every step of the way.

Preparing the Way

Earlier this year, our team at Tommy Walker Ministries began praying and dreaming about a worship project that would go deeper than just music. As Tommy marked 25 years since the recording of the live album Live At Home at his home church, Christian Assembly, we asked God to reawaken hearts, to stir faith, renew vision, and help His people turn their eyes fully back to Jesus.

That’s how Reawaken: Live At Home Again began.

Tommy wrote and carefully chose the songs he sensed were perfect for this season and this project. As we started preparing, our TWM Team gathered to pray over the songs and arrange them with intention and heart. This wasn’t simply about working on new music; it was about following God’s guidance every step of the way.

At the same time, demo versions of the songs were shared with our church family and beyond, not to build momentum, but to invite everyone into the journey. We wanted hearts to be ready. Voices already lifting praise. Spirits already stirred to worship.

From the beginning, we prayed this would be more than a project; it would be a shared offering of praise. Something we could bring together before the Lord as one body. We hoped that by the time we came to record, we’d already be worshiping, already thanking our way back to the Lord for His goodness and mercy.

The Setup

As the recording dates approached, our crew gathered at Christian Assembly in Los Angeles, to begin preparing the space for worship. Tech teams, camera crews, musicians, and 100+ choir members came together, not merely to set the stage, but to prayerfully create an atmosphere where Christ would be exalted and His people could encounter Him in worship.

We had the joy of inviting the worship leaders from Christian Assembly to join us for rehearsals and to lead a special moment during the concert itself. Standing shoulder to shoulder with them reminded us that this wasn’t just our project, it was something God was doing through His whole Church. Their presence helped anchor the heart of this recording in the life of our local church family.

Over the course of the week, we focused on polishing and perfecting original songs and beloved hymns that were already thoughtfully arranged. The room was filled with voices, laughter, prayer, and anticipation as we prepared to give God our very best.

What made it even more meaningful was seeing families serve and worship side by side, reflecting the beauty of the Church as one family in Christ.

Two Nights of Worship

There was something truly special about those two nights. From the moment we began, it was clear this was more than just a recording; it was a time set apart for worship. Over 1,000 people gathered in person, and together we lifted our voices, sang timeless truths, and invited the Holy Spirit to move deeply among us. The atmosphere was filled with joy, reverence, and expectancy.

We were especially blessed to have Tommy’s children join us during these evenings. They played a meaningful role, helping lead us in worship and guiding us through moments of heartfelt prayer and devotion. Their presence was a beautiful reminder of the power of worshiping together as a family and of God's faithfulness across generations.

As the music began, the entire church building transformed into a house of worship. It became a holy place where we proclaimed the name of Jesus, spoke healing over our families and church, and lifted our hands in surrender and praise. The presence of God was unmistakable.

Even after the cameras stopped rolling, the worship didn’t end. At the close of both nights, many lingered, remaining in God’s presence, singing, praying, and praising. No one seemed eager to leave. It was a perfect picture of why we were created: to worship our Lord and Savior.

We truly believe the Lord was doing far more than recording an album. He was reawakening awe and wonder, stirring hearts, and reminding each of us that He still has more in store. He is calling His people—each uniquely gifted—to step boldly into new seasons of worship, service, and mission.

From Christian Assembly to the Nations

Now, as the project continues to take shape—mixing, editing, and preparing to share these songs and resources—we humbly ask for your prayers. Pray that every note, every lyric, every moment would carry the presence of Jesus. That through this offering, hearts would be awakened, churches encouraged, and people everywhere drawn to turn their eyes back to Him.

And again: thank you. Because of your generosity and support, this project, along with its resources, will be made available freely to churches and worship leaders across the world. That’s the heart behind it all.

This wasn’t just a recording. It was worship. It was an offering. And we believe the Lord was honored.

With deep thanks and all glory to God alone,

In Christ,

Tommy Walker & the TWM Team
