I guess we say it every year, but it sure seems like our world is getting darker everyday! There are so many things I could refer to, but one thing that comes to mind is the seeming rise in anxiety and depression. Though we are supposedly more connected than ever through social media, we are actually more isolated. Isolation, hiddenness and loneliness are so prevalent in our day, but there is One who has come and He is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD! He has come to drive out the darkness and bring life, light, hope and joy! I pray that this scripture-filled song will inspire all people, myself included, to follow Jesus, the One who brings and is the light!
