"Praises" | The Psalm 33 Sessions

This song exists to celebrate and honor the Trinity. I find that there are very few songs out there on this topic, so this is my humble contribution. I actually wrote this song in the 80’s, and I have been discovering that when I go back and listen to some of my earlier songs, when I was a young writer, I hear bits and pieces of the original core sounds God was giving me at the time. This is one of those songs! Rearranging and recording this piece felt like an exercise in returning to my first love (Revelation 2:3-5).

P.S. As is part of our goal of the Psalm 33 Sessions series, my hope is that this song will demonstrate how instrumental solos can be worshipful as well. I have a deep desire to see instrumentalists encouraged in their gifts as they serve the Church.
